At TGF Cambodia we work every day to help local Cambodian communities come one step closer to realizing their vision of a better future.

Communities choose, develop and manage projects together with TGF; as a result, every project we undertake helps local people become stronger at organizing for their own constructive development.

TGF only provides the “nudge” to get things started, and villagers provide the rest.

Investing in Children and their Communities (ICS) does not provide aid: we invest. We believe that giving away money or goods is not the right way to sustainable growth. That’s why ICS invests in people, in parents and children. We do that by sharing knowledge and providing access to financial resources and markets.

The Career Exploration For Youth (CEFY) project in Chi Kraeng aims to improve the opportunity for youth; to have active-access with training and job opportunities. We target young people between 17 and 30 years old providing career services, work placements, referrals and public awareness events in the community.

Handicap International’s goal in Cambodia is to support a better future for people with disabilities and to take action to prevent the causes of disability along with improving access to quality health and rehabilitation services and promoting socio economic empowerment.

We work to make land safe from weapons of war and promote road safety but also provide physical rehabilitation services; produce and fit prosthetic limbs and orthoses. Our activities in Cambodia support programmes to prevent the development of disabling impairments in young children; promote HIV/AIDS prevention programmes that are accessible to people with disabilities and work to develop activities to support the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of public life.

World Vision's ministry focuses on improving the lives of the poorest children and their families in Cambodia. We partner with children and youth, their families and communities, across all faiths, religions, gender, ethnicities and political associations.

We aim to empower our staff and the communities we serve to take part in building a better future for Cambodian children. This future includes the "fullness of life" and the will to carry out the work that transforms community members, making families stronger and more resilient to economic uncertainties.

Room to Read Cambodia is committed to helping the country rebuild its educational system from the ground up. Our local staff speaks the language, knows the customs and understands the challenges that exist in implementing our various programs there.

One of the greatest needs in Cambodia to be affordable Khmer-language books to meet the demand of the country’s young readers. With that in mind, the Book Publishing program has been a priority for our Cambodia team since the early days of our operations there. Outside of Book Publishing, our work in the country includes School Libraries, Girls’ Education, School Construction and Reading & Writing Instruction.

JVC strives for a "truly effective project." Our projects might seem not to obtain immediate results on occasion, however, we implement activities meeting local needs and situation with an eye toward the future of people and community. What we are aiming at is peaceful, self-sustainable society.

Most Cambodian farmers operate small-scale subsistence farms. Since 2007, JVC has been promoting ecologically friendly agricultural practices in order to reduce the use of chemical pesticides and chemical fertilizers which have a negative impact on the natural environment and those living in these areas.

Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) Capacity Building and Health Education Program (CBHEP) began in 2001 to address health issues in the community. The core of CBHEP is to build on an approach of participation and cooperation through villagers, commune chiefs and health centers in Cambodia. Working closely with other AHC departments, we ensure when patients need additional care they are referred to the hospital.

The CBHEP program has three components; the Health Centre Project (HCP), Community Health Development Project (CHDP) and Health Education Project (HEP).
